Unlike traditional practices where doctors may see 25–30 patients per day, Dr. Mazza is able to dedicate the time needed to truly know each patient's health history, lifestyle, and goals.

The biggest differences are time and access. Traditional primary care physicians often see 20–30 patients per day, leaving only 10–15 minutes per visit. In concierge medicine, appointments are longer, wait times are shorter, and you can reach your physician directly — not just through a nurse line or patient portal.
Dr. Mazza also takes a preventive-first approach: rather than waiting for problems to arise, we work with you proactively to keep you healthy.

Appointments & Access
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Saturday – Sunday: Closed
For urgent matters outside office hours, established patients may reach Dr. Mazza directly by phone.
You can book an appointment in three ways:

Same-day and next-day appointments are often available.

Insurance & Billing
We do not file with any health plans, including Medicare. Patients with private insurance can file on their own using the information we provide when charges are paid. Medicare patients are prohibited under federal regulations from seeking reimbursement for payments made to us or any other non-participating provider.
Please note that our being out of network does not affect your coverage at any in-network hospitals or facilities we may refer you to for treatment or testing.
Patients of concierge medical practices like ours receive services that are not payable by insurance plans. The benefits of same-day appointments, 24/7 availability of your physician, and a focus on preventive healthcare can only be provided when the doctor carries a reduced patient load. The fee offsets the income loss that comes with caring for a smaller number of patients.
Non-Medicare patients are given the paperwork necessary to file on their own. Check with your provider to see how your plan will reimburse for this. Details about the annual exam and its components are on our Services page.
The retainer is an annual fee payable by check or credit card. Several payment options are available, including annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly installments. Contact us at (281) 207-0770 to discuss which option works best for you.
